COQODAQ Menu Illustrations

Commissioned to create a series of food and drink illustrations for COQODAQ, a Korean fried chicken restaurant in New York City, this project involved developing custom artwork for their printed menu in collaboration with Pentagram. The illustrations highlight signature offerings - including fried chicken, seafood, noodles, oysters, wine bottles and cocktails - rendered in a bold, expressive style that aligns with the restaurant’s contemporary identity.

The final artworks were integrated throughout the menu design, contributing to COQODAQ’s distinctive visual presence within the New York hospitality scene.

The menu features the COQODAQ Classics, Coqtails, No ABV Cocktails, and Beers. Classic cocktails include Alaska Martini, The Highball, American Trilogy, Cosmo-DAQ, and Gold Rush. Coqtails include Sagwa Sour, Serpentine, Boricha, White Pine Rust, Double Deuce, Wilo, Jubilee, Street Waffle, and Crimson Cup. No ABV Cocktails include Poppy Hill, Grey Room, Revival Road, Ghia Le Spritz Soda, Aplos Ume Spritz, and No ABV Spagett. Beers are divided into Draft Beer (Brooklyn Lager, Guinness), No ABV Beer (Brooklyn Brewery Special Effects, Guinness 0), and Bottles & Cans (Kills Boro Killsner, Lucky Chicken Pale Ale, Lucky Cat White Ale, Talea Peach Berry Punch, Bronx Brewery, World Gone Hazy, Miller High Life Pony). The menu is decorated with graphical illustrations of a martini glass and a cocktail shaker.
