Illustration Process

Here’s a look at what to expect when working with me—from initial sketches to final artwork. Each stage is collaborative and tailored to your project’s needs.

Stage 1: Sketch & Composition

At this stage, I explore layout, shape, and subject placement. This helps establish the visual direction and balance of the illustration before moving into detail.

Stage 2: Sketch Revisions

After the initial sketch is shared, I offer one round of revisions. This allows for refinements to layout, pose, or object arrangement before committing to final linework and rendering.

Stage 3: Rendered Illustration

With the sketch approved, I move into final rendering—refining the illustration with colour, texture, and lighting to bring it to life.

Stage 4: Final Revisions

One final round of feedback can be incorporated at this stage—this may include colour tweaks, small texture refinements, or other minor changes.
